Grace Pointe Apartments wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. This page explains what we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when something does not work.

What we aim for

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard most widely used to judge whether a website is accessible.

What we have done

  • Text and background colours across the site are checked for contrast against the AA thresholds
  • Every image carries a text description for screen readers
  • The site can be operated by keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined
  • A skip link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight past the navigation
  • Headings are structured in order so screen reader users can navigate by them
  • Motion and animation are switched off automatically for visitors whose device requests reduced motion
  • Buttons and links are sized for people who find small targets difficult to hit

Where we know there are gaps

Some parts of this site are provided by other companies and we do not fully control how they behave — in particular the enquiry forms and the resident portal. We have tested them, but we cannot guarantee they meet the standard.

If any of these gets in your way, contact us and we will help you directly rather than asking you to struggle with the software. We can take an enquiry or an application over the phone or in the office.
